Dead by Daylight Patch 8.2.0 Goes Live

At the end of August, Dead by Daylight launched its highly anticipated Castlevania update with patch 8.2.0. This update marks the beginning of an exciting crossover event featuring legendary characters from the Castlevania series. The patch adds Dracula, the Dark Lord, as a killer and Trevor Belmont as a new survivor, enhancing the game’s horror experience.

Dracula: The Dark Lord

In the latest Dead by Daylight update, Dracula takes on the role of the killer. Known as the Dark Lord, Dracula brings his iconic shapeshifting abilities to the game. He can switch between multiple forms—vampire, wolf, and bat—to stalk and eliminate survivors. In his vampire form, Dracula can unleash flaming pillars to damage survivors through obstacles. His wolf form allows him to track survivors by scent, while his bat form provides stealth and speed, although at the cost of making survivors invisible.

Trevor Belmont: The Skilled Survivor

Trevor Belmont, the new survivor introduced in the Castlevania crossover, brings unique perks to Dead by Daylight. His exultation perk allows players to upgrade a held item after stunning a killer with a pallet. This perk is designed for skilled players who can capitalize on moments of distraction. Behavior Interactive has also confirmed that additional Castlevania cosmetics will arrive on September 12, including outfits inspired by Maria Renard and Sypha Belnades.
